By placing your order and making payment, you are agreeing to these terms & conditions for use of this website.
We are now at Covid Alert Level 2. This means that we can process and courier out your orders as usual, with Covid regulations in place. There are a few delays in the courier system but orders appear to be arriving in good speed at their destinations. We will not be accepting any international orders until further notice. Please follow lock-down rules and hopefully Covid will be contained soon!
Your order will be processed within 48 hours. We use NZ Post and Courier Post and we post every working day. We endeavour to send most orders by courier but for some orders (like individual patterns or plastic canvas), and for larger items, this is not always practical so they will be send by standard post.
For freight within New Zealand our freight charges are:
Small Orders: $4.80
Medium/Large Orders: $6.80
Orders to Rural Delivery Addresses: $7.80
10 skeins or less ONLY : $3 envelope Note – these orders are ONLY for cotton skeins. Other items do not fit in envelopes. Orders with this freight option are always sent via the Post Office in an envelope
Orders over $55 within NZ: Free Freight
Please allow 2-7 working days for your goods to arrive. Once your order has been dispatched, we cannot be held liable for any delays caused by any postal service.
Freight for overseas orders is NZ$23.00 and all such orders will be send by Airmail, not by courier. Note that we cannot process any overseas orders until further notice due to Covid 19 Lock-down.
We do use recycled packaging materials as we believe that it’s important to not waste resources.
Your privacy is very important to us and we will not reveal your contact or email details to any other third party. The personal information that you give us when ordering is solely used to enable us to deliver your order and to contact you if we have any questions about your order.
If you choose to ‘Create an Account’ when at the Checkout, your address and contact details are securely held so that you do not have to enter these details again on your next order. You may correct or update your personal information by clicking on the ‘Account’ button at the top of any page and clicking the Edit button.
Credit card transactions with Stitch NZ are processed by Stripe or by PayPal. This means that your payment details are not transferred to or seen by us. Credit card payments via PayPal are protected by PayPal’s Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with 128-bit encryption, and Stripe have something similar so you can use your card with confidence that details are secure.
Refunds and Returns
We make every effort to ensure that the goods you receive are as you view them on the website but we cannot be held responsible for any variation in colour shades due to differences in computer screens.
We will replace any item that is faulty but we do not replace or refund on any products if you just changed your mind. We accept no responsibility for lost items delivered to an incorrect address that you have supplied.
All sales of patterns/charts and sale items are final and cannot be returned.
If you wish to return an item, please contact us for return instructions. The item must be unopened and in its original condition, and you must notify us within 7 days of delivery.
If your goods are lost or damaged during the delivery process, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date. If the Post Office or courier company confirms that the delivery was unsuccessful, a replacement item will be posted to you or a refund issued.
We take great care to cut fabric to the size stipulated. Please let us know if we have made a mistake and we will endeavour to correct it. When we advise you about the size of fabric to purchase, we also take great care but the onus is on you to check the size before you start stitching your project. We cannot be held responsible for incorrect measurements.
