Description
A sampler design from Laura Wolf showing motifs relating to Jane Austen’s book Pride and Prejudice. It has the words “It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife”, which were written by Jane in 1813. The motifs include Elizabeth Bennet and Mr Darcy along with Pemberley Manor.
The stitch count is 150W x 191H and if stitched on 16ct the design size would be 24 x 30.5 cm. This design is available as a PDF, a printed pattern or as a kit made by StitchNZ. The kit would include the pattern, 16 ct Aida fabric, 17 DMC skeins, bobbins to store the threads and a needle.
