Description
This is a kit made by StitchNZ of a 1940 NZ Penny. 1940 was the first year that the Penny was minted and it shows a NZ Tui bird on a branch of Kowhai with Kowhai flowers & leaves in the background. The other side of the Penny featured King George V. The Penny was used in New Zealand until 1967 when the switch was made to decimal currency. The Kit contains 14 count Ivory Aida, DMC cotton skeins, bobbins to store threads on, a needle, the pattern & full instructions. The finished design size is 15 x 15 cm
